Pet Society©, also known in Spanish as Sociedad de Mascotas, was a real-time video game developed by PlayFish. Since its launch in 2007, Pet Society became one of the most popular video games on Facebook, having more than 5,000 monthly active users and earning $100,000 per day.
What Was the Game About?
Facebook users could raise their own pets, which they fed, dressed, and even interacted with the pets of other Facebook friends who were playing the game.
The user had to create and customize a pet. Then, you could progress through levels and earn coins like Pet Society Coins and PlayFish Cash through various activities: baths, exercise sessions, fishing trips, races, and visiting other pets. You could also go shopping. As the player progressed through the game, he would gain experience and level up.
